3rd week of December stay.

After a stay at Vana Belle and the Conrad, I stayed at the IC, where I had been many years ago when it was branded Le Meridien (pre-Starwood).

The views are still spectacular, but no private pool like at the Vana Belle and the Conrad. The rooms need some renovation. I stayed in 2 rooms and was surprised by some sloppy painting jobs.
2 rooms because it's IHG and they would not upgrade me for the 2 first nights booked on points, while I got one category upgrade for the 2 other revenue nights. That being said, there was the famous IHF free bottle of water, included in the Ambassador membership.

As expected, (it's IHG) no complimentary breakfast (unlike at Vana Belle and the Conrad). I purchased it for the 3 first days (THB 765) and declined it for the 4th one, as I was checking out early.

On the evening prior to my check-out, after dinner, I went to the front desk to ask for a print-out of my bill. I noticed that they had forgotten to charge me for the 3rd breakfast and brought it to their attention.
They amended my bill and I told them that I would pay in the morning.
On the next morning, a 4th breakfast had been added to my bill although I did not go to the restaurant, as stated at the beginning of the stay and on the previous evening (with 4 associates being present and taking part in the conversation).
Well, my plan to check my bill on the previous day to have a smooth check-out did not work out as planned, as I was stuck there for a while, with the manager on duty (the Concierge) coming to the rescue.

I just realized another error / rip off: the THB 600 (that should have been over THB 660 to match the Ambassador F&B credit of USD 20) is not listed on my bill although I was told it would when I checked in, plus it was listed on my welcome letter.

Is there a management in this hotel?
