How do check-in agents verify eligibility for travel? If they are depending on these systems then, even though you may know (and be correct) about the up-to-date rules....they may not be. And potentially deny you to travel. Or allow you to travel only to be sent back at the border..
Thats the $hlt nowadays , i have seen many instances where checkin/gate agents were wrong , and people got scr*w*d up despite doing things correctly
If the agent cant find a solution , he/she might to ask help from supervisor who is supposed to be a bit more helpful and might unlock the situation .
