Hi All,

my flight BKK - ZRH - WAW on LX got miraculously cancelled by the airline (even though I get still buy this ticket on this route) and I get to choose any other connection on this route in C. I am looking for C,D,J to get more miles as my original ticket was in P.

I am wondering which carrier to choose to have the best C experience and ideally the highest chances to upgrade to F for miles (in which case rebooking to C,D,J makes more sense to spend fewer miles).

I am also considering a connection via SIN to have more options.

I see that all planes on those routes are ca 20 years old 777-2 or 343. Will they have modern C cabin? We came here by LX in C on 343, it was decent but not spectacular and had F but the upgrade request at the gate did not come through . I see that LH and OS do not have F on this route, C starts from row 1.

on the contrary, on the leg SIN - BKK we did SQ in a brand new 350 and C was amazing.

what would you recommend?
