You will let the resort know of your international departure time, and they will schedule the seaplane accordingly. It will likely be in the 3 o’clock hour, so I recommend requesting a late check out as early as possible, or upon your arrival. The Male airport doesn’t have a lot to do before your departure, but you will have plenty of time in the food court there. The hotel will have someone stay with you through check in, but given that you will have 4+ hours before your airline check in for your flight even opens, they will provide you a few options.

I’ve learned the hard way that even though most airlines, like Qatar, have earlier flights, your specific flight won’t allow check in until three hours prior.
