Looks familiar? This was shared in the IHG Forum - New Hotels Masterlist (sticky) by another poster. No availability in 2022 that I can see yet and no big official announcement, but that may still come soon.
No news whether they'll do some soft refurb or such either. Could just be "take down one logo and put up another" which would be a shame as I found the Fairmont needed some TLC and a refresh as some parts / rooms looked tired already. YMMV.
Definitely needs some major TLC… the hotel grounds had been poorly kept ever since the pandemic ravaged the island… I’m surprised they chose IC to manage the hotel given how IC already operates another hotel on the southwestern coast…
Just my two cents, but I think it’s a bit of a shame, the hotel has so much potential and could easily be branded as something more high end…
