IMO a FA should never ask a customer to make such a swap unless the Y+ seat was a middle and the Y- would have been aisle or window or have an empty seat next to it. OTOH, if the FA had been asking a nonrev to take the worse seat, that would be OK, although AFAIK a GA (and maybe the FA) could have ordered the nonrev to move.
