I stayed 50 nights in Caesars properties (Harrahs, Rio, Bally's) in Nov and Dec 2021. I had Diamond status, had done zero gambling for 18 months and never had resort fees charged. My rooms were weekday sun -fri and from $8-$20 a night, sometimes being upgraded to suites. Different program but still Vegas.

Vegas weekends are too expensive so I stay for 8K Hyatt points at either Hyatt Place. The first one was not very nice but it had an airport shuttle if that makes a difference. HP Silverton is about 5 miles south and is very nice (dark wood floors, high ceilings, lots of space etc)
