As for whether it is worth it - that is up to you. I bought myself a membership as a treat to myself and I love having a nice place to relax and have a drink or a snack before a flight. Whether it is worth the money is another story...

SeattleWanderer since it reads that you bought a day pass via the AS card then bought a Lounge+ membership a short time later for the first time you should be able to get that initial $25 refunded. When you email the address above they'll just need your MP number and the last 4 digits of your card to quickly process the refund.
