Indigo is a brand that was struggling to find its way.

It started with properties which basically were Holiday Inn like with supposedly creative design (actually the first American properties were just terrible with small rooms and cheap "design" : I remembered staying at horrible Indigo Atlanta Midtown which was the first Indigo hotel, and Indigo Dallas).
I may also include into this list the Indigo Rome, Paris and Madrid (with the exception of the pool area and lobby) with soulless design and small rooms.

Now, properties are getting better and better, with some little gems:

Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island, Hotel Indigo Shanghai on The Bund, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach,

Hotel Indigo Lower East Side New York,

Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown,

Hotel Indigo Williamsburg - Brooklyn,
Hotel Indigo Verona | Grand Hotel Des Arts, etc.
