Depends where you fly to/from. Ski trip to the Alps on AC, LH, OS, LX or SN departing from Canada? Ski/snowboard bag doesn't count towards your allowance. Ski trip to the Rockies or Japan? Ski/snowboard bag count toward your allowance.
