The lounge was gone and the restaurant opened at least a year ago, if not more. I didn’t stay there in. 2021.

The lounge was great because of the food/beverage selection, the fact that it had a balcony. It was on the second floor overlooking the pool. Perfect view of the center point of the Blues’ show. Several years ago, we stayed Friday night before the big Saturday show. The Blues held their post-dress rehearsal party in the hotel banquet room. Very cool to see everyone in their flight suits, etc.

Any of the gulf-facing rooms will have a good view. But, you’re looking at $1k per night for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Points redemptions are usually reasonable, but you’re locked into parking-lot facing rooms. But, you still get pool and beach access which are more than adequate.

If you’re coming on the day of the show, traffic is usually backed up by 4am and the beach is full by sunrise.

The Hampton next door is a good location, too. Again, the cost skyrockets for Blues’ weekend.
