Yeah, its just that last March at check-in, an Air Canada agent at EWR told me to get a test at Terminal C because my PCR result was in a text message. I don't remember the details, but what I had was enough to get me a green bar on the Air Suvidha, yet the AC agent didn't like it. While I was trying to get the lab to send me a more detailed PDF report, he told me to go get another PCR test at the airport, which I went for but the guy doing the tests said the result might take 6-18 hours. What was the point of that if I couldn't have flown that day? It didn't make any sense, and thankfully, my lab sent me a proper PDF of my latest test, literally as the counter was closing, and I managed to board.

My question here today was whether the airport PCR results these days were quick enough to get on a flight within one or two hours of taking the tests.

In any event, as it turned out today, found a lab in the city that did a one hour turn around for $ 150 ! Thought it was pretty decent, under the circumstances, considering that the flight leaves in 45 mins and their original test, taken approximately 60 hours ago, is still "processing".
