I think what fly co was referring to was the Chase and Elite bonuses which are not capped. Sure this may only be 15K + 1K, but combined with the other bonuses, it's a hefty sum of miles.
yes, and i always only buy the $50/5K option to "maximize" the worth of the 1K online purchase bonus.
