Last night I booked 5 Aeroplan business class seats YYZ - YVR - SYD in August. If Australia is open to tourists by then, it's cooler in the winter there but lots of seats available in our summer. I'm dual so can go in either case with the family, but may be worth a chance that rules will change between now and then if you're interested in going. Might be possible to tack on a SYD - BNE connect with Virgin not sure - didn't check that out.
