Why do you even bother to rebook tickets for Oct 2022 now?

For 1, fares are likely to be come cheaper closer to your departure date and 2, you are very likley to face cancellations or schedule changes that we will lead the need of rebooking your flight - unless your aim is to be able to cancel and get a full refund?
