Yes, Westjet is worth looking at. Their business class is excellent and has typically been less expensive (I have not seen it at half the price, however) than AC. You'd be flying into LGW versus LHR, but that is neither here nor there as far as I am concerned, and LGW was very quiet in late November when we were and thus was actually quite pleasant.
