I guess if Junior is under 2 it would be OK.
Only HON are afforded family guesting like in LH/OS/LX/SN (?) lounges.
this is...
something...!
but reading the fine print, actually, that is not new:
original rules on the FlyerTalk StarAlliance lounge meetings thread
and it's also consistent throughout the StarAlliance network. I am sure the same conditidions would apply to a VIE stopover as well.
at time of travel one would be 12 (thus an adult by the airline standards), the other 10.
I don't think I would go this way, as I'm currently exploring other options as well.
But again: I really can't see being denied in the lounge with the two Jr.
I would be really stunned.

This really must be LOT specific though.
On a tryout booking with LH I was able to assign preferred seats (1A/1C) to my companion (spouse).
But I was also being able to travel in 1A with LO without any status.
anyway, thanks for the heads up re SEN rules!

for anyone reading this:
on my last stopover in WAW,
traveling in J,
I was accessing the "Gold" area without anyone checking any document (I was still qualifying for SEN).
Not there is much of a difference.
But in the return flight I was being denied entry, they were more thorough
(Inside the lounge, there is another entry/door - reserved for Star Alliance gold members.
Everything is the same, except it's fewer people and they have sofas and comfortable armchairs.)
