Hey - so I'm trying to book a flight from London to Calgary in Business now that BA no longer fly to Calgary direct and looking for any advice.

I've worked out the best way to do this is use an Avios redemption with companion voucher to either Toronto or Vancouver, then take a WestJet flight to Calgary. I'm looking for advice from someone that may have done this trip before. Given Covid restrictions and how quickly you can self connect at both airports, what's the easiest way to do this?

A direct flight through Air Canada in cash would work out 3 times the price.
