Positive PCR AFTER Recovery (PHL to SYD via DOH)

Hello,

Has anyone traveled with Qatar after Covid recovery (and continued to test positive)?

I am traveling approximately one month after an initial positive result, and I am still testing positive over two weeks after my initial positive result (which is obviously normal for up to 90 days). Both the US and Australian governments allow for a medical certificate stating that you have had/recovered from Covid within the last 90 days, and in the case of Australia, the certificate has to be within 30 days of your flight and be at least 14 days after your initial positive result (plus no symptoms, not infectious etc). Pretty straightforward requirement. I already have an appointment to get my certificate the day before we leave (as well as the required PCR within 72 hours of departure).

What I'm concerned about/looking for in this thread, is anyone who has actually gone through this with Qatar. The government regulations are clear but, Qatar travel advice for the US shows the exemption/recovery requirement yet not for Australia. Knowing that I can follow every listed rule and not truly know if I can go until check-in is stressful because this is an important trip for me. I've reached out to Qatar via phone/Facebook Messenger and there answer has been a vague "we provide general guidelines, check with the local government yourself" type of deal (which again, is clear, but the check-in staff are likely going to see a positive PCR test result from me..

Cheers,
