Recently returned from a 5 night points stay. Had originally booked an accessible room. Upon checking in, had asked about a possible upgrade to a Gulf or Balcony view. Was offered an “inland” balcony view of the parking lot. No thanks. The lone Night Manager working the desk mentioned she could upgrade us to a Gulf Balcony view for $20 starting on day 2. Sold!

Pros:
-great views and beach access
-Food was actually decent. Only had breakfast offsite twice. Had the NYE prime rib for $29 as well. Could have been better seasoned and less overcooked but better than going out and fighting two hour+ waits. The wings and pretzel bites were our repeat favorites while swimming. The Mrs. ordered multiple of the Creamsicle frozen drinks.
-Two queen bed Gulf room was very spacious for family of two adults, two kids and an infant
>preferred the closet layout with wire shelving baskets
-DirectTv
-Indoor pool for rain days
-lazy river and zero entry pool
-Free parking and no resort fee
-fire pits
-daily housekeeping (bed made and dirty towels taken away)
-maintenance did a great job of keeping the property cleaned. Saw a guy walking along the sidewalk of the main road and on the beach picking up loose trash.
-staff delivered fresh towels daily

Cons:
-One of the three elevators wasn’t working which made using the elevators at checkout time hectic
-pool towel cards. Had to exchange a card for a towel. Somehow we had more cards at check out than we received at check in
-Marine, saltwater environment had started rusting the shower rod and a/c window unit. Also the free floating shelves were pretty worn
-walls had seen some use and could be touched up with paint or scrubbed clean
-was only two sets of towels in a 2qn bed room
