Breakfast was two cold options on a January 2022 mid-con, PBI-ORD. The smoked salmon was tasty, but I do worry about uncooked commissary meals as a general rule. No problems on this day however. The other option was an egg-salad sandwich. Not sure when AA plans to turn on their ovens. The cold breakfast option used to be cereal/ fruit/ milk and perhaps a bagel with cream cheese.

I don't think these meals are any less expensive to AA than the hot meals, so some other reason is delaying the return to oven-heated meals (were they removed to save on weight?)
