To add a data point to the "short flight service", I just flew PHL-BOS (52 minutes of flying). FA in F was great. Although we were at cruising for about 15 minutes, he still managed to come around twice with drinks, and was overall very friendly and pro-active. Flying back to PHL in a few hours, will report.
9 minutes at cruising altitude for the return flight, and once again, 2 passes through F for drinks. 7/8 in the A139 cabin, 3 of whom were pilots, but still found the FAs to be vey kind and attentive. It's amazing how much I have come to appreciate AA FAs who actually do their jobs instead of sit in the jumpseat for 5 hours between takeoff and landing on transcons
