If you have an IQ of <80 you would think Bonvoy allows it, just that their IT is bad. But they mean well.
When you get an IQ of 80-120 you think Bonvoy actually doesn't allow it and their IT is actually designed to enforce these "hidden" rules.
When you get an IQ of >120 you wonder why you don't just skip their IT and do everything yourself (eg that poster who stated how to send an email requesting stay credit directly to Marriott, bypassing the online system).
