I recently flew an American Eagle flight of more than 900 miles departing at 6:30pm in first class. We got to dig in the "snack basket." :-)

As the AA website says that flights greater than 900 miles flying at meal time will be served a meal in first class, is this supposed to apply to American Eagle?
