I have done searches on the hotels above but didn't get a good sense of how they compare.
I will be in NYC Nov 14-19. I got a club room at the Sheraton NY Tower for 279. This is also the same price Westin Times Square is charging me for a regular room.
My client location is at 42nd and Madison. Which hotel is best suited for me?
I'm looking for things like
- location relative to restaurants, things to do, my client, subway
- amenities like gym, hotel food
- room sizes
Should I even consider dumping my club floor room at the Sheraton for the regular room at the Westin?
Go with the Westin. Westin's regular room is better than club room at Sheraton ( I stayed at both many times ) Westin's lounge is better than Sheraton's.
Westin is closer to your client. Sheraton's gym is below street level, kinda got a basement feeling to it.
Westin's bathrooms bathrooms and beds are above and beyond Sheraton. Sheraton is old hotel, Westin is only about 2 years old. Restaurants are all over in NYC, depends on which specific ones you are looking for.
