Stayed 12/29-1/3. Did not get a suite so I didn't get my main room preference of a shower instead of bath tub. Room itself was fine with balcony looking over portion of ferry building and the bay. I also enjoyed the gym on the days we weren't recovering from too much happy hour.

I will say that if I head back and need a Hyatt property I will stay at hotel Kabuki. The location is much better right now. Dining and nightlife is a lot better imo, especially with downtown being so dead right now. Japantown has a lot of good options and you can get down to Haight or other areas a lot easier. The HR does have the BART station right outside so that is nice on the day of departure, but it would be maybe $15-20 more for a Uber compared to two BART passes.
