So is the lesson here that if you're involuntarily moved from a flight in FC, you shouldn't accept a seat assignment in coach (how do you prevent that) or you should only be rebooked onto the new flight as a standby? How do you prevent the computer from assigning a seat if you're elite? (For example, I just purchased a ticket where I wanted to make sure it went through ASAP and hence didn't pick seats at the time. Yet the receipt showed that DL had assigned seats for me.)
