Honestly your current ticket is irrelevant, I would just upload a screenshot of the JL webpage that you included above showing the booking code changes, as well as the current AA earning page for JL, and ask when AA is going to update their partner earning tables for JL to accurately reflect the recent changes to the JL booking codes.
But yea, I would fully expect some kind of bogus response on the first pass. But sometimes if you keep replying (nicely) to them it will force someone to actually look at the issue rather than just trying to brush you off.
