AA doesn't even give me that option anymore. I think AA previously let you contact them via email (and like you said - may or may not be read) but at least the option was there. Not anymore.

I tried the link above. Every option on the dropdown subject menu for AAdvantage account service above leads to "Good news - you can manage this request online". Great, but there's no place to write/explain the issue. I even tried name/gender change sub-menu and even that option has no place to write/explain anything. It's just fill in the box and upload doc. All other sub-menu options (including other AAdvantage subject) take you back to FAQ. AA made the whole thing as circular reference. Here's the FAQ. You have further questions? Here's the FAQ.
