Thought I'd add a more recent update in to this thread, as we stayed here for a couple of nights between Christmas and New Year. We only booked the day prior to arrival, but were able to get one of the larger Deluxe Family rooms with 2 queen beds for a good rate. Room was a very good size, with plenty of space. Room was in good maintained order, but cleaning left a little bit to be desired with patches of dust in parts of the room, a couple of stray bottle tops on the floor etc. Nothing we couldn't put up with, but it looked like a rushed clean before our arrival.

Pool and fitness facilities were fully open. Used the pool with my daughter and it was certainly family heavy when we went, but not too crowded. Looked like decent facilities though, with a good sized gym as well, which had a couple of people using it.

Breakfast was decent and as usual with UK Hilton group hotels, breakfast covered my wife and I as well as our 7 year old. They had spaced the tables out pretty well, whilst the buffet was self service, including tea and coffee at a dedicated table. Pretty standard Hilton buffet with a mix of hot items, pastries, yoghurts, cold meats etc.

Plenty of parking on site and staff were friendly and efficient, sorting out a couple of minor things for us in no time. (Locked safe on arrival and a broken hairdryer).

Would happily return if in the area.
