I would be quite shocked if any policy T&C's allowed evacs due to asymptomatic or mild infections. The purpose of medical evacuation has always been to give people life-saving treatment that is unavailable locally, not to skirt around quarantine requirements.

I agree yet I am hearing a lot of anecdotal instances of people using these services for this purpose. I suspect that these policies were offered without expecting omicron hitting over the heavy holiday travel season.
