Well, * membership requires each carrier to paint a certain number of a/c in the *A livery. So UA should definitely have more than one plane flying around like that. US for example has about 5, ranging from 757's to CRJ's. LH also has several, incl. a 747, as do SQ, TG, etc. What you saw is actually the 2nd * livery - it used to include every member's logo.
