I'll check the front desk in a few minutes to see who is working because even if the phone call is successful, I'll still have to go to the front desk to collect my voucher. I've received these vouchers on numerous occasions and typically they just glance at it and let me keep it or the hotel provides one per day. I've never had them take it away from me to where I had to go get a new one in the past.

UPDATE: Went to front desk just after midnight and someone else was working. She apologized more times than I care to count and thanked me probably a dozen times for being a titanium member and gave me a voucher for tomorrow. She said to simply come back in the morning after breakfast and I can get another voucher for the following day which I already foresee being another hassle. I don't know why they won't either give me one voucher per day (they write the date on it) or why they can't just write all of the dates on the same voucher. I've never had to go to the front desk and collect the voucher daily. Normally it's not a huge deal going to the front desk for things, but given my experience with the last front desk agent (who seems to work every day), I anticipate that it will be.

UPDATE 2: I received a response from corporate today which makes me really want to bang my head into a wall....

Hello Mr. xxxxxx,

Per the terms and conditions of Marriott Bonvoy, US based Courtyard do not participate in the breakfast amenity. I am sorry for any confusion.

Best Regards,

I don't even know where to begin here as that's just insane. I emailed him back with a link to the Marriott welcome amenity guarantee and specifically requested my $50 compensation. I wasn't going to push for that before, but if the front desk agent and email agent are this clueless, some serious training is clearly lacking and I want my compensation.
