I'm looking at booking a trip this winter - the lie-flat seat is ~$2,500 booking direct in Business/Lowest = ~$5,000 for two people, vs. ~$2,600 in Economy Latitude for me + $0 for my guest BUT I can use a Buddy Pass...add-on 8 eups for the upgrade...looking at the T&C's for the Buddy Pass I don't see any restrictions on me being able to do this?

I had no trouble using e-ups with a buddy pass. Comfort one way booked within my window, Latitude the other way. Upgrades cleared for both of us without any problems. Lie flat yvr-yyz-yvr.
