Stay Report - 12/30 to 12/31
Location: The hotel is located across from FRA Terminal 1 and directly connected to that terminal via an air bridge from the check in area. It's not well signed in the terminal (look for small font on the sign reading Marriott/Sheraton) and if you come in from Terminal 2 you can either take the Tram or a ground level bus. You will have to walk through the FRA rail station to get to the hotel entrance though as a bonus the rail station has a really cheap coffee shop in it.
Hotel: The hotel itself is separate from the old Sheraton and has its own restaurant and coffee shop and bar off its lobby as well as separate check in. Helpful employees were there to direct people and asked "Marriott or Sheraton?". There are enough elevators and I never had to wait a long time for any.
Check In: A really friendly agent helped me check in, thanked me for being Titanium, confirmed which benefit I wanted. In fact all hotel employees were very helpful.
Room: I used a SNA and got a large suite on the 5th floor. There was a large living room area with a small kitchen area which had a coffee maker and two bottles of water. The bedroom itself was fairly small but not oppressively so. Annoyingly there were only two pillows on the king bed. There was a large bathroom with tub and shower along with a separate powder room. Annoyingly our room was oppressively hot and the AC didn't work. I overheard another guest on my floor complaining about this and leaving the room.

Breakfast: The Titanium breakfast was a full buffet in the lobby restaurant. It had scrambled eggs, sausage, a large spread of breakfast meats, cheese and smoked salmon, breads, yogurt and cereal. Not bad though service in the restaurant was bad. I asked for water and the waitress pointed to a carafe by the buffet.
Overall an okay alternative to the Sheraton. I prefer the more modern rooms but wish the AC had worked.
