Stay Report - 12/23 - 12/24
Location: Great obviously. Easy walk to the E/M Station at 53rd and 5th as well as a bunch of other subway stations. Being close to 5th Avenue, Park Avenue and Lexington Avenues means plenty to eat at, drink at, see, do etc. The only complaint I have if I have one is that 55th Street backs up easily so any car coming to pick you up or drop you off can take a minute. It's easier to meet vehicles or be dropped off on 5th.
Hotel: What can I say that hasn't been said about this place? Beautiful lobby of course with a lovely dining area and of course the King Cole Bar. No waits for elevators which is a bonus, even the hallways and stairwells look lovely. Even more importantly is the staff down to the last person is impeccable at hospitality. Service was on par with any Asian or European luxury hotel I've stayed at.
Check In: I guess if I wanted to complain I'd mention there are only two agents working and because they give such good service you can wait a minute or two in line waiting your turn. But once you're in front of the agent it's really nice that they are so helpful and give such great service, so I won't complain.
Room: I had booked a regular room on points and used a SNA to get an upgrade to a Grand Luxe. It was a really nice room with a full living room, large bathroom with separate tub and shower and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The butler service is incredible too. Every time I rang for my butler they were there in a minute and provided so many nice little touches like coffee and tea in the morning.
Dining: Drinks at the King Cole Bar were very nice and service was great there too. Titanium Breakfast covered the American Breakfast which was two eggs, choice of meat, potatoes and bread with coffee and juice. They were nice about substitutions too.

I spent 100,000 points on one night here and I feel I got my money's worth. Where else can I say that about?
