I’ve just checked out after a two night stay here. It’s my 3rd visit here since COVID and wow, they really pulled out all the stops.

Two night stay, 90k points per night. Upgraded to a Biltmore One Bedroom Suite the day before. A welcome gift of a bottle of Merlot and a had written note.

The suite overlooked the courtyard but it was beautiful, price on the app was £1700 per night. A lounge area, walk in closet, large bedroom with sofa, desk and table. Bathroom was beautiful with probably the biggest bath I’d ever had in Europe. Large size Penhaligon’s Quercus toiletries. Turndown service actually happened, first one in Europe since COVID. Everything in the room was in perfect condition.

Diamond breakfast was anything from the, small but adequately sized, buffet and one dish from the main menu. Bottled water, barista coffees or lose leaf tea also unlimited. The omelette and poached egg on sourdough were both fantastic. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly.

I dined in Cafe Biltmore one night which was nothing compared to the Betterment that was there before but still delicious and good service. Drinks are on the expensive side, but we are in Mayfair. A bottle of whispering angel was £85 plus service and a Ruinart Blanc de Blanc was £175 plus service. As a comparison point the same champagne was £140 plus service in the Four Seasons Trinity Square.

I also popped into the Pine Bar for a drink and service was also fantastic. Cocktails also delicious, as well as some lovely cheese bites.

A fantastic redemption and one I will be repeating very soon.
