I have stayed at Le Meridien and the regular non-JW Marriott near by. There are in different class - especially the view and the Executive Lounge. The JW is a little farther from the Bund but it is very very fancy. In China, even the Courtyards have pretty decent lounges so there is a wide range of choice.

It is interesting that one of the photos above has the QR code that says the Police Substation on Nanjing East Road and something about the national pandemic center App?
