Leaving aside what happened to OP, I have taken 1-2-3 days trips to MEX, BOG, GRU, IST, DXB, ADD in last year and didnt think it twice. it doesnt matter if i need to be there for 12 hours or 12 days. sometimes somethings need to be done in person
