Made it up after a grueling 8 hour drive that would be 2.5 hours normally. 80 was open…just very slow. Sean the front desk manager checked us in at 5:30 but room wasn't available. He gave us some credit to get dinner. Finally got our room at 7.

Today most of their waitstaff was delayed by traffic so only one restaurant for lunch grab and go style. Tonight no fine dining restaurant just same pub that was lunch. Many staff have COVID or are sick according to asst manager who came by lunch area.

Definitely a paired down experience with only one dining outlet. No daily housekeeping now.

Debating asking for points as a service recovery. On the one hand it’s hard to run a hotel in this condition — weather and COVID. On the other hand it’s not the advertised product.

valet parking is free for globalists on award stays. Nobody available to help with bags though.
