If the issue is on BA's end, their qualifying years aren't physical years, but rather are based on what month you enrolled. They also don't have an end of month cutoff but rather the 8th of the month. So if you joined in May, the end of your year would be May 8th. So probably less urgency at least from BA's perspective.
Thats a good point. Still, when you have partnerships it’s wise to know how your partners function. Beside elite qualifications these flights also yield award miles which have monetary value so it’s really disappointing they let the issue persist into a third month and counting.
