With regards to the ibis Business Card: is the 10% discount (on flex room rate*) on the room rate a percentage of the public room rate or the ALL member room rate (which is already discounted by 3% to 10% from the public room rate)? As the ibis Business Card gives ALL Gold status then we are instantly given the discounted member room rate and the two discounts are cumulative. As an example and using easy small numbers: if a public flex room rate is £100 then the member room rate (with 10% discount) is £90. So with the ibis Business Card does this give a 10% discount on the public £100 (i.e. another £10 off for a total rate of £100 - £10 - £10 = £80) or does it give 10% discount on the member rate £90 (i.e. £9 off for a total rate of £100 - £10 - £9 = £81)? Thanks.
* or 5% discount on semi-flex room rate. This is only mentioned in the T&Cs, but not the webage highlighted benefites (
https://businesstravel.accor.com/hot...index.en.shtml).
As far as I can tell, the flex rate is that which allows cancellation up to the day of check-in and a semi-flex rate (or 'Book With Confidence' as I see on the ALL website) is that which allows cancellation up to 3 days before check-in.
