Sorry to burst your bubble, but this has nothing to do with what I am talking about. I have never had to enter my SM# into the system. It always recognizes me just fine. Then transfers me to the “just graduated” class of agents like clockwork. You got lucky on one call, and believe me, I am jealous.
But yes, totally true that if you have multiple accounts with your phone number in them, this will cause your problem. It’s true on all airline systems too FYI.
