With American's new program shifting to Loyalty Points - I'm trying to decide which new credit card to get as part of my strategy to retain EXP status in 2022. So far from what I can tell, all the available credit cards earn 1LP per 1$ spent. Has anyone seen anything different? I've read everything I can find on the web.

If that's the case - then the only major differences are mileage bonuses, signup bonuses and potentially Admirals Club access. But if there is a card that does 1.5 LPs per $ or 2LPs per $ - I'd certainly opt for that.

What are others seeing? Any suggestions?
