Unless I am reading this wrong, if you are transiting through Singapore, they do not accept self swabs. From Singapore Air's website:"Travel history to Category II or III countries/regions: Take a PCR test or professionally-administered ART. Self-swabs are not allowed"
I would love to be wrong! The proctored test would save a bunch of money and be far more flexible.
