I took advantage of a "earn 7x the points" promo to buy a new watch in mid-October. New watch model was not yet released when ordered, but promised delivery date was about 3 weeks later. Watch arrived on the date they quoted, still no sign of the bonus points though.

I also bought a new MacBook Pro in late November to take advantage of the Black Friday 10x bonus. Laptop was in stock at the time order was placed, and arrived as scheduled 6 days later. No bonus points yet.

Both were cash purchases on my Aeroplan Amex, not point redemptions.

Right now, I'm more impressed with Apple's punctuality than Aeroplan's.
