- start planning now for having multiple tiers. entry either $500 or $1000 at first, possibly up long term with demand. then higher tiers up to unlimited amount. for example $1m per month for commensurate yacht charters (up to several million per week excluding expenses), hotel buyouts, added-on over-the-top catering for events with many guests, etc. yachts could be the next thing after their current real estate push. considering all the new rent-from-owner apps etc for cars including supercars, could even explore that. long term they absolutely do not want people doing pass intermittently rather than a subscription. shareholders and stock market analysts do not want that. what they want is a base subscription, that people can change every month. cant recall where i have seen this, but for example Exclusive Resorts and a few others did that IIRC on an annual basis in terms of picking number of nights each year, with ER at one point saying 10 minimum. any higher tiers would allow totally different offerings and target audiences possibly including truly unique (in market) offerings which are practically nonexistent right now, in terms of things equivalent to the houses at sea island and RC grand cayman. (at higher price level.) few 'aspirational' marketing styles could match that kind of thing. don't even need to sell many if any at top level(s). while many of us here find it ridiculous, it works.
- besides subscribers and average monthly per subscriber, also average additional monthly spend per subscriber. CNBC's Cramer has long been suggesting apple should do spend per customer including over lifetime. apple added services revenue after reaching certain level.
