IST, old thread, but again the directive was lowered to 22-24 degrees some time ago, and in light of Covid should be at 22 degrees..........Also who exactly is the "we" that we are talking about, the Turkish crew? I believe that there only remains one long haul route where the Turkish passenger contingent ever approaches 50%, even in the best of times, there are some routes where I would bet that the Turkish contingent ever exceeds 5% of the load (LAX anyone?).
Personally I have been on 2 long haul TK flights in the last few weeks where the heat was simply unbearable, and had to have (again) a conversation(s) with the "Sef" to lower the temperature (The "Sef" claiming that they had raised it because some old woman had complained-----I told her to give the Teze a blanket and keep the other 350 pax happy). The last flight the cabin was over 26 degrees. The standard across the industry is 22 degrees, plain and simple.
