I have used it but didn't care for it. While it is fast due to not being widely used it does seem to be open to all and I am not certain if the orange Priority tag was added to my bag tag or not. Plus, I like to have a paper ticket so had to go to the kiosk anyway to print that out.
Cant speak to the paper tickets, but I can confirm I did receive my orange priority bag tag last time. Probably not a bad idea to mention it to the agent though when they pick up your luggage tag.
