Delta should have removed BOTH passengers, and both should be prosecuted, She for assault and not mask wearing. Him for not mask wearing. It will just get worse until we put a stop to this.
Independent witnesses reported that the gentleman was eating and drinking at the time of the assault. I'm not sure it's reasonable to expect that a person who is on the receiving end of an unexpected and undeserved verbal and physical assault, would respond by saying "Excuse me, could you please wait a second while I put on my mask before you continue your assault?"
